I was wondering, how do you get to know men better? I feel shy and awkward dating. and tend to get overlooked by men I'm interested in, as I'm not as outgoing or pretty as some women. Men get uncomfortable when I approach them. I can attract some men, but they're often weak, selfish types. Sometimes it worries me. Do you have any suggestions? Oh. and I'm twenty.

You should go to a beauty salon (look them up in the yellow pages). Call some up and tell them you want to come in and have them give you the straight honest truth about what you can do to improve you attractiveness to men. Be prepared for some uncomfortable ideas (if they are honest with you.) They may suggest that you need to lose some weight, or get your teeth fixed, or shorter or longer hair. Or maybe you need to put on some weight or get into better physical shape.
Once you have done what they say, men should not be uncomfortable when you approach them. The next step is how to interact with them so things go well.
