Me, longterm boyfriend and my crush

Suggest Advice

Do you have some advice for this person?

Visitor's Question:
I'm 25 and have been in a long term relationship for almost six years. My boyfriend and I live together he is fabulous and I love him to death. He's sweet, he's fun, and he makes me laugh all the time. He is my favorite person.
But I have this crush, and it's driving me crazy. It's weird, but I am mentally attracted to him and he's wonderful too.
I feel terrible about this and I would never cheat on my boyfriend, but I don't think I'm ready for the next step. I don't want to breakup with him because it would ruin everything. He's the guy you marry, but I'm not ready yet.
What do I do?

Our Suggestion:
When you ever marry, you will still get crushes on other men. It's part of life. Don't let the crush get to you unless you are very disatisfied with what you have.

That's not the case here. You love your boyfriend so why mess things up?

Good luck! George
