Best Friend

Suggest Advice

Do you have some advice for this person?

Visitor's Question:
I have a best friend who is a girl. She always says I need to smile more and I need to flirt more. She is insanely in love with this kid that she wants to quit loving. Sometimes it seems she is flirting with me but I can't tell. It seems like she likes me, and now I am starting to really like her. We are both on Spring Break she is with her famliy and I am with mine. I am thinking about ehr all the time during spring break now that I haven't seen her in awhile. Should I tell her I am beginning to like her? Is she trying to hint something when she says she doesn't want to love this other guy anymore?

Our Suggestion:
A good way to bring this up with her is to tell her "I am beginning to develop feelings for you." This will give her the opportunity to either go along with you or to let you down easily. It should not threaten you friend relationship with her. Also let her know that you missed her.

Good luck! George
