i'm really confused.. what does it mean??

so me and this girl have been friends for about 2-3 years now.. i met her through my cuz and ever since then we've become pretty close. i see her often (for lunch, coffee, etc.) and its awesome cause we can tell each other anything and all. one day we were hanging out and we cuddled and she didnt have a problem with it.. so then i kissed her on the cheek and then she was sort of surprised. but then again we were pretty affectionate before that with the cuddling and all so i thought it was ok. i told her the next day how i felt and then she left on a weekend vacation. since she came back i feel as if she wants to be distant.. does that mean its 'awkward' now or should i give it time and not call her? what should i do.

Our Suggestion:
Maybe she wants to be distant, but you should try to not let that happen. It could just be a mood. Be friendly, keep doing what you used to do and hold off on the cuddling unless she starts it.
