A Love Quote
Love gives naught but itself and takes naught but from itself. Love possesses not nor would it be possessed; For love is sufficient unto love.--Kahlil Gibran

Love Stories @ RomanceClass -
Will you go out with me?" At that time I got a humungous smile on my face. I automatically said "YES!"

I was in my freshman year of highschool, single, and the year was almost done. My best friend, Kristy, had just broken up with a sophmore. His name was Josh and he played on the Junior Varsity football team. He rode my bus so we had talked a few times, only for a few seconds though.
The day that Kristy broke up with him he was very upset and wasn't talking to anyone on the bus. This was very different from his usual behavior. My friend, Misty, and I decided that we would sit next to him and try and cheer him up. After almost twenty minutes, we decided to give up. Nothing seemed to make him feel better.

After he and Kristy had broken up I had begun to feel a certain something for him. He was nice, funny, and not to mention very cute. He was about 5'8", short dark brown hair, blue/hazel eyes, and a smile that could melt any girls heart.

The next day on the bus he seemed to be much happier. That made me feel better. He started to flirt with every girl on the bus, including me. He sat next to me, tickled me, and even used me as a back rest, typical guy stuff. We started talking on the bus and found that we had many things in common. We both like the outdoors, have pretty much the same humor, and we even have the exact same eye color. When the bus went to drop him off he turned to look at me and said "Do you mind if I call you tonight when I get home?" Now remember, I had hardly ever spoken to him so naturally this confused me. I said "Sure." I was about to say my phone number to him when he said "I already know your number from Kristy when she called me from your house." I laughed and waved good-bye to him as he walked off the bus.

My friend Misty also had a crush on him and she was still on the bus when this happened. She looked at me in disgust and didn't talk to me for the rest of the bus ride.

When I got home he hadn't called yet. It was only 3:30p.m. so I didn't think much of it. At 4:00p.m. the phone rang. It was him. I answered the phone and we talked until about 6p.m.

The next day Misty had decided that she didn't want to fight with a friend. She wasn't mad at me anymore. Josh decided to call again after school. This time he called at 8p.m. and we talked for about two hours. At about 10ish he told me he had a question for me. After he said that, he became very quiet. I said "What was it that you wanted to ask me?" He said "Well I have been thinking about this for a while... Will you go out with me?" At that time I got a humungous smile on my face. I automatically said "YES!"

That was how it began. Now we have been going out for over 5 months and I have never been happier.
