Taken for Granted

One common emotion when people are approaching a breakup is that one or both people feel taken for granted. They feel that the partner just ´assumes´ that things will be done and never says thank you or shows appreciation.

Partners are in a relationship because they *want* to be, not because they *have* to be. If you are feeling used, or taken advantage of, it´s time to sit down and have a long talk with your partner. A relationship should be a way to grow and promote both individuals, not for one individual to take advantage of the other.
