Fights and Arguing :
Address Problems Early On
A compromise is most easily reached when both partners are able to look at a situation with relaxed and open-to-discussion eyes. If you sense a trouble spot coming up, talk about it immediately. If you deal with it in advance and with options open, a compromise shouldn´t be too difficult. If you keep putting it off because you don´t want to deal with it, by the time it becomes necessary to handle it quickly there won´t be the time or ability to work through it properly. This will also set a bad tone for the next time a similar situation occurs.
