Me and my ex meet in high school. We had been friends before and fell in love quick. We've been broken up for 4 years now. Everytime he gets a new girlfriend he calls me and brags and then ignores me again. I have not found that right person yet because its hard to make myself love anyone again. But he has ignored me for almost a year now and rnadomly texts me wanting advise on how to ask a girl out. I try to help b/c I do want to be his friend but I would love to be more than that again. Now, everytime he talks to me he tells me how great this new girl is and it hurts. It makes me feel like he is purposely trying to hurt me. Then he brings up the fact that he would like to get back together with me but he can't b/c his parents don't approve. I'm so tired of sleepless nights and cried out eyes over him but then if i quit I would know that i don't love him anymore. And i don't want that.
