You can show someone that you´re interested, and that you´re fun to be with, but you can not make someone like you. Find out what your object enjoys, and see if you enjoy the same things. Learn more about his or her hobbies, and be around when they are going on.
If he loves basketball, and you go to games that he´s watching, you can run into him at the snack line and comment on the game. Be sure that you don´t just put on an act though - if you really hate basketball, he´s sure to find out, and will dislike you more for lying to him!
