Before you talk to them again, Give both yourselves enough time to get your emotions in control. This will also give you both the time to think about many issues. Don't assume that you guys will be friends right away. Or build your heart up and poor your heart out to them just to be replaced with rejection. After a while one of you can ask the other one to try and be friends again. This way it will be a fair friendship and you may realize that you two are happier this way then together or apart.
