Blood / Sanguine
In the Four Temperaments system, a person who had too much blood in them was known as 'sanguine'. These people were daydreamy, unfocused, and could be arrogant. The treatment of too much blood was, of course, to remove the blood, usually with the help of leeches. Thank goodness we don't do this any more to daydreamy people!
