Be yourself

Right, well, shyness is a problem that I have a hard time with, so you're not alone. I suggest you just be yourself, to begin with. Worked for me, and I'm still really shy. If you're having a hard time being yourself, just focus on what you want to do. As a guy, I'm pretty goal-oriented, and if being comfortable didn't work for me, I just went after the goal on my own steam, hoping for the best all the while. If you're hoping to get conversation started, hit it off with "Hey, how's it goin'?" Compliment her, something simple,(she will notice, this part is especially important) and let it go from there. The subject will probably come naturally, but if you're having trouble, you may want to let her lead the conversation until you can relate, and really get into it. Well, best of luck, my friend.
