Original Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
We have known eachother for 2 years. We go 2 the same school. And I flirt with him all the time at lunch. He flirts back. I have dreams about him and i cry sometimes 2 know that were not going out.

I have considered asking him out but i'm scared of what he will say. Plus rumors might spread around the school. I like him alot!! But the school year is almost over. I want 2 ask him out but I always thought that chicks don't ask out guys. I know he likes me cause he called me his monkey in the middle. Plus last year when I was in his class we would hang out in the field and it seemed like one time he tried to hold my hand.

My friends don't like him so i'm scared i'll loose friends if I go out with him. Everyday at school I wait 4 him 2 ask me out. But he doesn't. The big problem is that he has a GIRLFRIEND!!! He would break up with her 4 me I know but the and normally that would b ok but it is my best friend. What would I do. So how do I ask him out.

User Submitted Advice from a 13-20 year old Female

the worst place to ever find yourself is in the land of wondering "what if"? if you like this boy, you need to tell him that you have a crush on him first of all for him to know and then for him to withdraw from flirting with you and lead you on. if that changes your relationship, good because i don't see a good relationship anyway with a boy who is flirting with a girl that is not his girlfriend. If closeness with him is eating you up inside, then distance yourself a bit from that temptation.
