I am 21 years old, in college, and still single despite my best efforts

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
I am 21 years old, in college, and still single despite my best efforts. Females just don't seem to respond to my advances. As a result, I am self-conscious all the time. What is wrong with me? Or rather, how do I find out what is wrong with me? Most people my age have at least had one or two significant others and I have failed to even achieve a first date. Please help.

RomanceClass.com Advice
First take a look at yourself in a mirror.

Are you overweight? Lose some weight.
Are you short? Start wearing boots.
Are you dressed sloppily? Get some fashionable clothes.
Are you well groomed (hair, nails, shave)? Do it.
Are you well informed? Read newspaper, news magazine, book.
Are you sociable? Practice, practice, practice.
Do you get straight A's? Work your buns off (girls like smart guys)

Now look around for some girl that may be in the same boat as you are. She may be eating alone at the dining hall, or at a dance but not dancing. There are hundreds of such girls looking for dates. Remember don't expect a Cindarella at first. You need to get those first dates under your belt first. Ask the guys in the dorm to ask their girlfriends if they know girls who would like to date. The grapevine works great.

Good luck! George
