Does he care too much?
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male Dear Romanceclass experts,
I have a dilemma with my girlfriend of 2years. Recently she has been working quite a bit and spending a lot of time with her friends from work, outside of work. I'm busy as well but am finding myself becoming increasingly more curious why she spends so much time with them. IT seems like they come before me or us. Isn't a girl that is in love with you want to spend more time with you? Also recently a guy came back into her life who has had strong feelings for her in the past. But she never dated him or kissed him. I'm worried because he initiated a kiss on her while we werent together. I don't know how to remain cool about all of this because I know if I show my jealousy then that will make me look insecure. Any advice on how to not care so much?
Thank you
Respectfully,
J
RomanceClass.com Advice I can't advise you on how to not care so much since I think you have some things to care about. It sounds like you are handling the situations well so far.
Ask her for more time together but don't make her feel "fenced in." Regarding the old friend, keep up to date on the situation without being inquisitorial.
Open communication is the key to solving both these problems. This may be a time when she needs more space than usual. Try to help provide her with it. -- from George One of Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
