Giving Gifts to Friends

hey!...i wanna ask you that i met a guy and he rejected me ...and then he said we can be friends . but now as we talk with each other as friends i fell he likes me still !!! i wanna give him a gift on his b'day he lives out of india.

should i send him this gift? is this love or just an infatuation????
