When you give a hickey are you suppose to bite the other person? Or just suck?

Jeez I should write an entire essay on hickey giving! You're making a bruise on someone's neck, just as if you hit them with a stick. It's a "love bruise" but it's still just a bruise. So it doesn't really matter how you damage their neck :) Most people suck because it's less painful but sure you can bite if you want :)
