I desperatly need ur help guys,am LOST!!

My story is complicated,i'll try to tell the buttom line of it,i had a bf we were datin 7 years ago,in the 4 year he cheated on me and i knew by accident he did'nt confess but i confront him but he did'nt deniy i was treated so bad like really bad he used to love me but i dunno what happened to him,i left him after i knew by 4 months,now he's back regretin what he did askin to marry me and sayin im his real love it was a weird part in his life and he'll make it up to me, i dunt know what to do shall i forgive him,p.s. I still love him,or shall i say like other people who cheated once can do it again,i have a question,why would he asks to marry me know if he dunt really regret and want me back?!!!,i despertaly need ur help plz

People do change over time and especially at his young age.

He seems to be very serious. Make sure he has given his offer a lot of thought. If you are willing to marry him, make the wedding date a year or two into the future so you have plenty of time to judge how much he loves you, how much you love him, and whether you are willing to give him a second chance.
