how do i break up with a suicidal girlfriend

ive been with this girl nearly a year, i just want out, i started basically living with her for a few weeks at a time but i find shes too clingy, we both have trust issues but its getting to the point where im not even alowd to talk to girl mates from work without her kicking off, recently i told her i did t love her and she climbed on top of me shaking and crying and begging me not to go, so i apologised as i was in her house and we were ok but then i srill felt the same and i told her i was not happy and i wabted to break up, she did the same thing again but it was over the fone and she wouldnt let me go, she id now on anti depressants and has scrathes all over her face arms and legs where she has clawed at herself and often hints at suicudal tendancies it realli is too much for me to handle as i myself have just found out i have a serious illness, it feels asif im carrying two sets of stress on me at the same time and have found myself becomi g depressed i just want to be by myself how would the best way to go about breaking up be?

What you should do right now is to face up to her suicidal tendencies.
Tell her parents what is going on or tell a trusted teacher or the school psychologist or counselor. Or tell your parents.
You should not be trying to deal with this by yourself and her. Once you have her under the guidance of an older person, it won't be so difficult to break up with her.
Meanwhile talk to your parents and your doctor and be extremely accurate in what your serious illness is. Perhaps you aren't as sick as you believe.
