I dont know if we can last through college
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
My boyfriend and I have been going out for 2 1/2 years, we live 2 min away from each, went to brother-sister private schools so all our friends are pretty much the same and our families know each other because we actually went to preschool and elementary school together. We got together in high school sophomore year and it was great. We both love each other very much but now its the summer before college and we have yet to talk about it seriously, our only conversations about it has been us really emotional at some party wanting to stay together. He actually told me one time that he wanted to stay with me forever and wanted to me to come to his college because he couldnt survive without me, although he was drunk, i still believe him but i dont know if he would say that now because hes not a big "lets talk about feelings" guy.
I started to get more jealous over the summer when his friends were hanging out with girls from a another all girls school and this has happened before and he knows how uncomfortable it made me feel when he told me he wanted to hang out with other girls. I know he would never cheat on me EVER because it is something soo serious to him but Im afraid he would emotionally cheat on me in college. He is going to a big state school in South Carolina and is soo excited while I am not excited about my college in NY for reasons apart from him.
We seem to fight more recently and although they are usually small fights, it sucks and I feel as though he takes me for granted sometimes and now i think hes pushing me a away a little because i get jealous of girls i dont know that he hangs out with while with his friends, he is my first boyfriend and im his first actual girlfriend but hes kissed other girls before we went out. I dont like that he when he hangs out with random girls while on vacation with friends but in college there will be millions of girls i dont know. and i love him so much but i dont know if i can take it, i trust him but im just so scared. HELP!!!!

The important thing is that you trust him. That makes all the difference in the world.
Make sure you establish good communications with him-- phone, email, texting, FB, whatever. This will make you feel good.
But, you should start right now working with your parents to transfer to the college in South Carolina. Your parents won't like it, but it is in your best interests. And, you will feel better thinking about it. Tell your parents you will work in the library and take out extra student loans if they are hesitating because of costs.
You can work things out if you put your mind to it.
