hi, i have this crush on a girl and i think she likes me to. We aren't much together tough. Everytime we see eachother our parents have a diner together. Her father somethimes mentions about us in a relationship. Mostly it's like this: "hey,(my name) if u are in a bar with my daughter(on a date) then wont stay long" or stuff like that. I usually say something like "i don't like being in bars" or something else but i don't insult her. This one time her father said something about me and his daughter getting married but before i could even think of an answer my crush said: "Like that's going to happen!!!", that shoked me but she said it in a Dad-you-are-annoying way and not in a serious way.
i have 2 questions:
-am i reacting good on her father's sentences?
-Did she mean it by saying that we could never get married?

Her father is just being a pest and joking around with you. So far you have handled it well. Keep saying you wouldn't do something like that and then laugh. That's actually what he wants is for you two to laugh with him.
No, she didn't mean that you could never get married. It was just what you said: she said it in a "Dad-you-are-annoying" way. She wasn't serious.
