Finding Out

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
Ive been working at my local shop for 2 years now and about a year later this girl started to work here as well. I was aware she was here working with me, i said hi to her when I started my shift. I never had any feelings for her but until now. I know she had a boyfriend, but i dont know if she has got one now. Ive never had a convosation with her, she has asked me a few questions but i get scared when answering her and just give her 1 word answers. Now these last couple of weeks i keep catching her looking at me, so i smile at her and then quickly get back to work. I also get butterflies when i stand next to her and i feel sick but excited at the same time. So how do i cheak to see if she has a boyfriend (without sounding desprarate) and to see if she likes me as much as i like her?

RomanceClass.com Advice
First thing to do is to make her acquaintance as a friend.

Do this by looking her in the eye, saying "hi" in a clear voice with a smile.
After doing this a bit, chat about something normal. Smile at her a lot without being goofy about it.

Once you know her better, take the bull by the horns and ask her if she has a boyfriend. If she is free, tell her you've "developed feelings" for her and that you would like to take her out for dinner, a walk, a movie or whatever.

Don't drag this out... while you are waiting she may find another guy.

Good luck! George
