Lip piercings and kissing

My girlfriend and I kiss a lot and we make out, and sometimes tounge kiss. I have a lower left lip ring... is there any way that it could hurt her or make her sick? It is a very clean piercing, that is fully healed and I use aniseptic cleaner on it a few times a day. I have perfect oral hygeine (ugh... spelling errors) and there are no sharp points on the ring, its a simple capive-ball ring. 14 gauge.
Its there any possibility of it hurting or pinching her? or getting her sick?
