not time but hard to resist

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Male
hi. well, there's a girl i really like, and she told me she likes me a lot too, but she's not allowed to date until she's 16. so we still talk and i still flirt with her and whenever i see her at lunch or after school school we hug and she really likes it. i can tell. but the thing is, ever since i split up with (name sencored) i have really wanted to kiss her, but i know i shouldnt because 1) she's not allowed to date yet and so i have to wait and 2) it's WAAAYYYY too early to do that. so i have 2 questions
1- how do i get rid of my craving for intimacy? because i want to be able to respect her and not just want to do her and feel her body (i'm 14 and she's 14)
and
2- how do i completely get over (name sencored)? because if i ever start dating the girl i like now, i dont want to have any problems come up about having feelings for (name sencored)

thanks!

RomanceClass.com Advice
Kissing is ok.

Just because she can't date, doesn't mean she can't kiss. If you feel comfortable talking about it, ask her how she feels. You can't get over the craving for intimacy. It's part of growing up.

Don't expect to completely get over your ex. I still have exes from high school I think about from time to time. You have a year or two before you start dating, and your feelings for your ex will die down by then.

Good luck! George
