Am I Being A Fool?

Visitor's Question from a 31-40 year old Female
Hi George - Several months back I wrote you concerning a guy I have been seeing and at the time he expressed issues of trust due to his marriage. Your advice told me to continue to talk to him about his trust issues, and I followed. Here I am in the eighth month of still seeing him and I am as confused as I was when I previously wrote.

Last week I decided to share with him that my feelings had started to change in regards to wanting to spend more time with him. To my surprise he agreed with what I had to say. Now I do need to say that he is in the mist of finalizing his divorce and I do know an offical relationship can not realized until he is finished with that.

So needless to say I haven't spent anytime with him since our conversation last week. We have shared some very intimate and open times together. I know that I do not want what he has been giving to me, and he had the opportunity to say at that time he couldn't give it but he chose not to say that. I haven't felt this way about anyone in an extremely long time. I need to know how do I either find more patience to get closer to him or just take these past 8 months and count the lose. Please help me understand my actions and his lack of.

RomanceClass.com Advice
It would be difficult for you two to communicate well while he is in the midst of his divorce. Too much stress all around. Stress on you two.

Only you can tell how long to wait or just cut bait.

My advice is that your problems are due to stress and that you should re-evaluate the situation after the divorce. Meanwhile start seeing each other again.

Good luck! George
