Met him, still dig him but...

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
i'm 19 and ive have been chatting with a great gut online for half a year. i'm not one for virtual relationships and meeting up with strangers, but i'm single and unexpectedly fell victim to developing an attraction over chat for this bloke. he is 22 and lives about 40km away which is quite inconvenient but we eventually met because of our interest in one another. however before we met we were technically 'seeing' eachother already which was probably a foolish move. i really love his personality and think he is an awesome prospective boyfriend on a more serious level in the future, but after meeting him (we've only met once so far)i don't feel as attracted to him. needless to say he's no brad pitt. i still love his personality and enjoy his conversation immensely but i'm afraid i'm never going to feel attracted to him. he finds me very attractive and is very smitten. he never wore his heart on his sleeve with me until after we met, now he shows his affection alot more and admitted he's scared of getting his heart broken (implying by me). my question is how can i still feel so attached to him when i don't feel attracted anymore? am i wasting my time or havn't i given this enough of a chance? i want an outside perspective from you because i could be blinded and am very confused. please help!

RomanceClass.com Advice
This is good example of why long distance lovers should share their photos online before going too far with their acquaintance.

Basically you want to be his friend and he wants to be a lover. You are going to have to tell him up front where he stands. No reason to wait and drag this out. He probably has sensed already how you feel.

You don't have to tell him point blank it's because of his physical presentation, but just say there was no click. You can remain being friends if you both are comfortable with that.

Good luck! George
