How do I let him know?

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
I am currently single and getting over a very heartbreaking shortlived relationship. I wanted to begin casually dating a man I know through my best friend. But 1, I cannot tell if he even likes me, let alone wants to go on a date with me. 2, He came over the other day (I told him my roommate was out of town and to call if he wanted company, which he did), we stayed up all night talking and drinking, and nothing happened, even though we slept in the same bed. That was the first time we had ever hung out alone. He was very open and comfortable with me, but he is like that with all his female friends (and he has many). Ever since I got out of this last relationship, I feel unable to be my usually gutsy flirtatious self. I am also moving soon (only two hours away), and I don't know if that is another reason he is keeping his distance. We are both getting over other people, so I want things to be casual, and I want to keep in touch with him, but I can't figure out a very good way of letting him know what I want, without ruining our friendship as well as his friendship with my best friend.

RomanceClass.com Advice
My advice is to tell him how you feel.

It is very improbable that it will ruin your friendship or his friendship with your best friend.

Give it a try.

Good luck! George
