who do i believe??

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
i fell in love wit *Brian about 4 months ago.But on Wed. a altercation happened involving myself and another girl who previously had feelings for him...that wasn't the prombelm though. But the promblem was when we went to the youth counselor and a girl told me that Nov.2005-Jan.2006,her god-sister and my boyfriend had been dating but the other girl found out about me in Jan.(when me and him started dating) and she immediately broke up with him....about 15 minutes after finding out that info. i confronted him and we agreed to discuss it later. That night on the phone i asked him again and he told me promised that he never cheated or lied to me since the beginning, and that he never dated that girl.I then agreed that since we "love" each other i'd believe him and give him the benefit of the doubt.Today i was told by him, that one of the 2 girls that told me the info. about him had told him that i said "f**k him!""i don't go wit anymore" and all kinds of other stuff.
I guess my question is:do i believe my boyfriend of 5 months or 2 girls that i don't really even know??My brain is telling me 'Brian's lying!!Break up with him' but my heart is saying 'stick it out!!u love him,he loves u,he wouldn't lie to u!!'....what do i listen to u my heart or my brain??!!
