Fights and Arguing:
Basic Thoughts:
Arguments are Normal

No relationship is perfectly smooth. There are always points of friction. What differs is how a couple reacts to them. Where one couple may see the friction point and work it out over a breakfast coffee, another couple may start screaming yelling about the issue. It all comes down to how you two have learned to communicate with each other.

Realize that 99% of how you deal with issues is in your heads. If you choose to be calm and reasonable about it, you will find a solution or compromise in a reasonable manner. If you choose to take it as "yet another proof that he's a jerk" or "just another case of her being nasty" then the fighting will ensue. Choose to respect your partner and to deal with the issue, whatever it is, calmly and maturely.
