Long Distance and Internet:
Keeping Hope and Optimism:
Compromise and Trust

I am 17 years old. My boyfriend is also 17 years old(he's from South Carolina and Im from Virginia), soon we will be having out 2 year anniversary(we met online and now we chat online and talk on the phone daily). We already met last summer in person, we loved each other even more. We missed being together so much that now we scheduled to meet and stay together for a week this December. We live a very good relationship. It's based on love, not lust(like most teenage and some adult relationships/in other words, we don't want to lose our virginity til we are married to whomever we end up with). Anyway, We have worked out now, we are so very happy. The reason we are so happy is, well, we don't like to argue(both of us abhor it), and secondly, compromise. We normally never have confrontations. But, as in all relationships, they do occur-but you just dont neet to go crazy, just listen to that person and let them listen to you and come up with a solution. In many cases, if you just wait about an hour or less, the problem works itself out! Trust is also another large part. You could worry yourself all day about if the other person is going out cheating on you-you just need to have trust. If you find that you dont have trust in regular relationships, and online relationship would proooobually not work for you^^;;. Well, anyway, to all of you out there who are in an online relationship, good luck!!^_^ And be careful!O.O
