Halloween Costumes:
Papa smurf and smurfette
buy blue body latex paint so it wont rub off. its takes a little bit of time to paint on but its worth it. paint all of your body that will be exposed. You may want to use blue greese paint for your face.
Smurfette- wears a long blond wig, white dress, white shoes or boots, white gloves. for the hat, cut off the arm of a white sweatshirt, turn it inside out, tie it in a small knot at the wrist, turn it back in side out and fit the floppy hat onto your hair (may need to secure with bobby pins).
Papa Smurf- secure a short white beard onto your face. Do the same hat technique as smurfette did but use a red sweatshirt. If you choose to wear a shirt, make sure it matches the blue paint- papa smurf did not wear a shirt so you will want to make sure it blends. Wear red pants and red shoes.
We won first place with this costume. It was awesome!
