Keep a Journal

Find a journal that really appeals to you - whether it's a leather-bound tome or a fabric-covered lined diary. Keep it with you if it's small, or get one for work/school and one for home if it's easier to store it in a drawer. Whenever you feel stress creeping up on you, just grab your journal and jot down some notes. Say what's on your mind, what's bugging you. Then tell yourself the stress has been recorded, and you'll deal with it later when you have time and energy for it. That way you're not ignoring the stressful situation, but you're handling it in a way that makes sense.

Even just a 30 second jotting of notes can help you feel much better!
