Get to Know your potential date
It´s always much easier to slide a question like "want to grab some coffee later?" if you´re already talking to the person in a friendly way. Don´t approach someone to "get a date" - approach someone to get to know them better, and to have fun with them. You´ll find that the date part progresses naturally!
