You may consider trying to be friends for a while but still show that love of yours to that person so that they know that your are still there for them. Like on birthdays try to get them something that shows them that you loved them but you are trying your best to give them there space. Even when they are upset try to talk to them so that you are showing them that you are going to be there for ever. Then if she is reconsidering of going back out with you then try to show them you changed and ask for forgiveness . Like i will do is send them a thank you gift that is telling them that you are glad that you are still friends or if you want to be more then friends once agian but this time you want to do the right thing next time.
