Keep the Lights Down
Sometimes it's easier to talk when you have shadows to hide in. Don't light a lot of candles - you don't want this to seem like a seduction. But keep the lights low, maybe pull some curtains across if it's daytime. You want a quiet, muted room in which you can share your inner secrets.
