Be Congruent
You can say or ask almost ANYTHING to a girl, without her taking offense, if your body language and other silent signals are congruent with the attitude you portray verbally. If you, as an example, want to know whether a girl is single, ask in a suspicious tone, "Are you single?" Raise your one eyebrow, look her straight in the eye, as if you suspect that she might have stolen your wallet, and wait for her reply. Profound, I know. Try it. Just be confident, and remember, what she thinks of you, is NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. She'll LOVE you for it.
