Just be Yourself
If you like some girl and want to go out with her then just be who you are and what your friends know you as. Don't ever try to be something you are not because if the girl finds out you are not what you seems to be then she's gonna think you're a liar and never trust you. Trust is one of the key points for what a girl wants and if she doesn't like you for who you truely are deep down then she isn't worth you're time or energy.
