Junior High - High School

Most parents won't let their kids date until they are in high school but there are always the exceptions. A junior high person will want to leap into the world of dating, and those mature high school people can seem awfully appealing!

It's really best to stay friends (or BEST friends if you want) with someone until you're both in high school. The entire environment, expectations and ability to do things is different in those two schools. Junior high students can't drive, usually have strict curfews and are just beginning to learn about their passions and limits. It is critical that they learn these things at their OWN pace. If you add in the pressure of an older boyfriend or girlfriend who wants to "prod them along", things can happen that destroy the younger person's life.
