Fights and Arguing :
Discussion Techniques :
Think Before You Act

If you see an aguemnent or fight about to take place between you and your lover, stop talking before you say something that will escalate the situation. Even if your lover says something that may upset you, just stop talking and walk away. Go to another room and count to 10 (in your head!), take deep long breaths, whatever you have to do to calm yourself down. Also give your partner time to calm down. When you are both calm, sit down and talk about what happened. Remember to choose your words wisely and speak calmly. Don't start a fight again. Just talk it out. Then make up! Even if you're still a little upset. Just make up! You know you love your partner so don't be so proud. What ever you and your partner does to makeup, do it and you'll feel better.
