While in a healthy relationship I think making your partner jealous can only be harmful, there are times when jealousy is a powerful force for freeing you of your past. If your ex left you and hurt you, one of the best ways to clear your head is to turn around and be much happier and content now that your ex is out of your life.

If you´re going to an event you know your ex will be at, don´t plan to make a scene or snub your ex. Instead, prepare to shine. Get your best clothes, get a lot of sleep the night before, and go and have *fun*. Truly enjoying yourself, and having your ex watch you be incredibly happy, solves two issues at once. It gets you back out and happy with life, and it is of course a great way to make your ex jealous of what was lost. :)
