try to ignore your ex. make them feel like your doing better than when you both were going out. talk about other girls and how awesome they are. hangout with alot of friends of the opposite sex and talk about your time with your ex. the best thing you can possibly do, is move on. look around for hot chicks or whatever your into, girls, guys, animals, hey i dont no what you do on your spare time. if your having trouble looking for a mate, ask one of your amigos to hook you up with a CRAZY person that likes to take things FAST. and make sure if you have a aol or aim profile, put I LOVE (and the name of the new girl.) trust me dude, if you do this stuff it should help your skinny butt out big time.
