Citrine

Citrine is the backup birthstone for November - it looks much like Topaz but does not cost as much.

Citrine is a gorgeous yellow gem that is often used with other gems to make multicolored bracelets. Its colors range from flaming yellow to a mellow brown. Technically, citrine is an amethyst gem that has been heated. Most citrine that you find in stores is actually Amethyst that has been cooked artificially.

Citrine symbolizes health and youth.
