What all people want at heart is someone they enjoy being with, someone they have fun with and like spending time with. Show him that you are interested in things that he is, that you´re a person he would enjoy being around, that you have things in common. If he´s talking about something, and you´re in the ´crowd´, mention that you like it too, or better yet, that you´ve always wanted to learn more about it. Be truly friendly. If you do this in an honest, not a "look at my batting eyelashes" sort of way, I bet he´ll be intrigued. It´s hard enough in this world to find people that really like the things that you do, so when you do find them, you tend to want to see if you can be friends :)
