Avoid the Complex Sports

As much as it might sound like fun, avoid doing complicated things like mountain climbing or rollerblading on that first date. Your date might say she's "great" at mountain biking but her definition of great and hers could be vastly different. You two will be nervous enough on that first time together - you don't want to be extra nervous about doing a sport properly or hiding a laugh while she falls for the 8th time. Save those sorts of adventures for later dates.
