Going to sleep angry

The old adage ´never go to sleep angry´ must have been written by people who didn´t have to go to work the next morning! Saying that you must stay up all night to hammer out a compromise is simply not workable in many situations. However, agree with your partner that the issue will not be worked out right then, but that you will sit down and resolve it the next day when you have plenty of time and a fresh outlook. You´ll probably find that the issue is much easier to work through when you have plenty of time and a night´s sleep behind you.
