Sibling jealousy

Siblings are natural rivals for parents´ attention while growing up, so it is no surprise that they are often jealous of each other. The jealous sibling does not feel good about him or herself in some way - remind the sibling that each individual has strengths and weaknesses, and that while you may have some strengths, the sibling certainly has others. If the sibling truly does want to be better at a certain activity, offer to help teach him or her.
