Just You Two :
The First Dates

Being in a mixed relationship often means you will get a lot of attention from others. A black woman walking with a white man will get more people looking than a same-race couple. First dates are nerve-wracking enough without this extra attention, so try to find places that are quiet and that you both feel comfortable in. Give yourselves time to get to know each other in a relaxed and comfortable environment before adding any extra stress to your relationship.

For example, for a black-white pair a general restaurant would be fine, but going to an all-black bar where many people would feel hostile to someone dating "outside the race" might not be great for a first date.
