I have learned my lesson

I cheated, it was completely meaningless but done because I was scared about the prospect of moving in with my man and very very drunk... but the cheating has made me realise what an amazing guy I have, and I am going to work hard every day to appreciate and love him. While it has made me feel so terrible about myself, it has also truly clarified my feelings. I need now to learn to respect myself again. I won't tell him because then the burden will be with him, whereas I need to punish myself by holding the burden for the rest of my life.
