The First Date...

After you have done the initial phone/IM conversations and you are ready to take it to the next leve (a date) You must keep in mind that the 1st date is very important. Now, the fact that she will be meeting up with you for a "date" already means she likes you. Keep in mind that a date can be any social enounter where you have a conncetion, ie.. Coffee, ect.

The 1st date is different. If you want to make a postitive impression and want to see the girl again (second date?) JUST BE YOURSELF. The key to be yourself and to pick a venue and activity that you both will enjoy. I personally think that an expensice dinner is MUCH TOO forward and awkward for a 1st date. Generally a movie and quick bite (NO FAST FOOD) works very well.

Movie: Action but not too testostrone ridden
Romantic always works, gets the mood going
Comedy is a safe ways to ensure a fun night
Cutesy flicks are great because no matter how old or mature you both are you had a chuldhood and reminicing this will make the connection that much stronger.

You can always try Venue Jumping as well. A quick bite, Ice cream, Hooka, a walk/cuddle on the beach. It also works very well. providing the beach in near and you dont have to shlep 25 hours from place to place :)

Whatever you pick to do just make sure to show her (or him) the best time of their lives and to be yourself.
