Beautiful girl

i was engaged to the most beautiful and sweetest girl. we were the happiest thing this side of heaven. then one day out of nowhere she tells me she's been cheating on me with her ex boy-friend... my tear ducts have run dry and my pillow is soaked... this is twice in a row this has happend. i don't know if im doing something wrong but both times its " your so perfect but i dont love you". i don't understand love. im not sure that i ever will. it brings out the most extreme emotions, and rips them away without haste. why?
